Resolved Question: 2009 Ford Focus SES or 2010 Toyota Corolla Ce?

Friday, May 29th, 2009

I could get a fully loaded 09 Focus for the same price as a pretty bare boned Corolla. I’m having a hard time deciding…I know ppl think the world of toyota but reviews have shown that the focus is a good car too. I think the focus is nicer but the toyota might be true to it’s reputation.

Resolved Question: What is the relationship between Ford and Ford of Britain?

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

I read a comment in a blog reviewing the new Focus RS in Europe and it responded to an American’s comment asking why Ford doesn’t just sell those European cars over here, and they said it is because Ford of Britain uses European engineers and designers. If this is true, what is the relationship between the companies then? Is Ford just a name applied to a totally different company or is it truly the Ford we know here in America, but producing different cars for a different market.
