But what you need to do is have your brakes serviced because you may either have a bad bearing somewhere on the drivetrain, or simply your tires may be out of balance. Either way, have your brake pads checked and the fluid levels correctly filled. If that doesn't help, you may have a problem with your power steering, but it won't go that far. I had a similar problem with my Nissan and all I did was just adjust the drums and it was fine. You aren’t in any danger. The rotor is the round disc that the brakes tighten on to stop your car. If they're not too bad it may be okay to machine them down. If not they'll need to be replaced. This happens as they are under high heat conditions on a regular basis. You can take it to a shope and either have them turned (if they are not worn down too much) or replaced.
